The Face of Today Foundation was created with the goal that all Youth and their communities would feel empowered through access to resources and education. The Foundation’s We Got You Centre is a non-profit youth resource and support centre serving Youth in Vancouver’s most vulnerable neighbourhoods. They provide a safe space for Youth to grow in the community.

The original building, used as a Citadel and built in 1957, offered tremendous spatial character and value for the Youth Centre’s programmatic goals. By working with the existing structure, we weaved in the new spaces, sensitively merging with the retained elements of the original building—a synergy of present needs with a standing resource.

With an extensive program centered around Youth, including a community space, a library, a teaching kitchen, a gym, a recording studio, a café, offices, lounge areas, and outdoor spaces, our renovation for the Youth Centre brings together the aspirations of these social programs under one sheltering roof.
